As we do every year at Annual Conference, West Ohio Disaster Response Ministries will be collecting kits and supplies for Midwest Mission Distribution Center, a cooperating depot in the UMCOR relief supply network. However, this year's collection will also include the Bishop's Hands of Hope Challenge, where we see which District can contribute the most items! Below is a list from Midwest Mission of their most needed items, but all kits and supplies on this webpage will be accepted. Let's make sure we welcome Bishop Jung with Hands of Hope!

Midwest Mission's Most Needed Items

• NEW Items:
  • Onesies & Sleepers (0-6 months)
  • Receiving blankets (28"x28" or 32"x32")
  • Flannel fabric (at least 1 yard)
  • Contractor trash bags (2 mil+)
  • Underwear (Girls sizes 10-14, Women's sizes 5-8)
  • Shampoo (12-19oz, no pumps)
  • Lotion (8-10oz, no pumps)
• New or Gently Used:
  • Wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches
  • Shovels, rakes, brooms
  • Hand tools
  • Tillers

Supplies will be collected on Thursday, May 29, from 8:00am-5:00pm, and on Friday, May 30, from 8:00am-3:00pm. Take all donations to the Midwest Mission truck located in the turn-around area across the street from the Capital Center. Please do not bring supplies into the Capital Center where Annual Conference is being held.
