DISCIPLESHIP BOOTCAMP
From Curious to Committed. Curating a Discipleship Pathway
We’re bringing Church of the Resurrection to Ohio!
Learn the from Church of the Resurrection’s leaders and their processes.
Discipleship is more than a program — it’s a journey. Join us for a dynamic workshop designed to help ministry leaders create intentional pathways that guide people from curiosity to commitment in their faith. The Resurrection team will share about their own processes which include:
- The Art of Invitation with Lauren Cook, Entry Points Program Director. Discover effective strategies to create welcoming and accessible entry points into your church. In this workshop, "The Art of Invitation," you'll learn how to develop diverse and engaging digital outreach and in-person events and groups that naturally invite spiritual exploration. We'll explore practical approaches and share successful examples of building community through shared interests and life stages, fostering an environment where invitation to a transformative faith journey flows organically. Learn how to equip your congregation to become outward-focused and confident inviters, building bridges to the non and nominally religious and strengthening your church community from within.
- Be Known and Do Good: Creating Healthy Small Group Communities that Make an Impact with Rev. Justin Schoolcraft, Director of Discipleship. With social isolation, political polarization, and technological innovation at an all-time high, our congregants (and ministry leaders, too) struggle to form meaningful relationships in a chaotic world. However, the cultivation of Christian relationships is an essential piece of faith formation for any person. Through experimentation, mistakes, and risks, Resurrection has found life in our small group ministry by placing the wellbeing of each group member front and center. This workshop will focus on casting appropriate vision, developing healthy group facilitators, and growing in fruitful outcomes – all towards the end of communities that leave places of comfort to make an impact in the world
- From Surviving to Thriving: Helping Young Adults Flourish in Life and Faith with Sierra Glaser, Young Adult Program Director. Come explore how church leaders can build a comprehensive ministry that empowers young adults to develop skills they need to navigate life – like building relationships, developing resiliency, and engaging in conflict. We'll discover how these essential life skills are not just practical tools, but they are also deeply connected to a thriving life of faith. This workshop will equip you with a blueprint and practical solutions for helping young adults flourish within your ministry.
Together, we’ll explore strategies for fostering deeper connections and multiplying discipleship efforts in your ministry. Come ready to celebrate, connect, and leave equipped with fresh ideas to inspire spiritual growth in your community!
Outcome: You’ll gain practical strategies to strengthen your church’s disciple-making culture.
