One hundred thirty young adults from across the world gathered in Orlando, Florida, February 16-18, for Exploration 2024. Exploration is a discernment weekend for college-aged young adults that happens every other year and is hosted by the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM). Rev. April Casperson sits on the design team for this event and was encouraged by the increase in participation from the last Exploration weekend in 2019.

West Ohio was represented well, sending five college-aged young adults, as well as having several others from West Ohio participating as collegiate ministers, presenters, vendors, and guides. They also welcomed one student from East Ohio to join the group, making the great state of Ohio proud.

We invite you to keep Ginny Faeth (East Ohio), Abigail Beers (Worthington), Audrey Wingerter (Worthington), Maddelyn Wetzel (Chillicothe Trinity), Brock Cavinee (Lewis Center), and Jenna Calhoun (Hyde Park) in prayer as they continue to discern how God is calling them to live out their faith in the life of the church, as both lay and clergy.
