The North Central Jurisdiction (NCJ) will meet in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, July 10-13, 2024, with the theme "Lift Every Voice." The NCJ is comprised of lay and clergy delegates from Illinois (Northern Illinois, Illinois Great Rivers), Indiana, Iowa, Ohio (East Ohio and West Ohio), Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. West Ohio is represented by 28 delegates.

Typically, delegates meet for worship and collective discernment regarding the election of episcopal leadership, selection of members of general boards and agencies, and receiving episcopal assignments. No episcopal elections will be held this year. The NCJ Committee on Episcopacy will assign bishops within the jurisdiction. The assignments will be announced on Saturday, July 13. This is of particular interest to West Ohioans as the conference will welcome a new bishop effective September 1.

A livestream of the conference will be available beginning Wednesday, July 10 at 3 p.m. (Central Time). Watch the worship services and plenary sessions via the 2024 NCJ Conference website.
