Declare is inviting the UM churches in our district and especially in Montgomery county to an evening of worship and family fun on Friday, July 19.
Declare began 10+ years ago as a platform for Christ followers to work together as the body of Christ. They are a group of pastors and leaders who work to connect and support local churches, nonprofits and community leaders to share God's love in tangible ways to bless lives and communities.
In its second year, Declare Dayton is a family event featuring food trucks, vendors, kids' games and other festivities. The highlight is the worship celebration that goes from 7-9pm featuring musicians from across the Dayton area in addition to a city-wide gospel choir. You can come and simply enjoy the event, or, if you want to get involved, consider joining the choir or prayer team, greeting or helping with setup.
