On behalf of the Healthy Boundaries & Clergy Sexual Ethics (HB/CSE) Team and the Safe Sanctuaries Training Team, we are pleased to invite you to an essential training event tailored specifically for both lay staff and clergy. This upcoming session is designed to reinforce our commitment to maintaining safe and respectful environments within our communities.

Program Schedule for Each Location:
• Morning Session (9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon): Healthy Boundaries and Clergy Sexual Ethics

•Lunch, Laity join for the meal with Clergy and stay for the afternoon session
• Afternoon Session (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM): Safe Sanctuaries

• Safer Sanctuaries
o Materials: $10.00 (Clergy do not need to pay for these materials, should already have the Healthy Boundaries 101)

All participants will have lunch together, and those attending the Safer Sanctuaries Training will remain for the afternoon session.

Considering new West Ohio Conference policies this quadrennium, it is now mandatory for all Clergy under appointment, all Lay Pulpit Supply, and all Certified Lay Ministers within the West Ohio Conference to undergo a complete background check every four years. To facilitate this, we kindly request that all participants register for your preferred training event and complete the "Permission to Release Information" form below by November 30, 2024.
