Monfort Heights United Methodist Church, a loving and welcoming community, is seeking an experienced Music Director.

This position is a part-time position (5-7 hours per week) and the annual salary will be based on the candidate’s ability, education, training, and experience, ranging between $6,800-$7,500.

The person chosen for this position will be skilled in recruiting, developing, and leading the choir, securing guest musicians for summer music or special services, and developing the music ministry for Sunday morning worship for the 9:30 am Traditional/Classic worship service and special services. They will collaborate with the Organist in music selection. They will work with a committee to plan a concert series, where outside musicians and/or choirs perform.

Membership in the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) is encouraged and will be supported.
